The Mahle X20 is at the heart of Newton[e] technology, offering powerful yet discreet electric assistance. Integrated into the rear hub, this ultra-compact motor weighs just 1.39 kg, contributing to the bike's light weight. It delivers 65 Nm of torque and 275 watts of peak power, ensuring effective assistance on uphill gradients. Thanks to its speed, torque and cadence sensors, assistance adjusts smoothly and naturally, and disengages without resistance above 25 km/h to preserve the feel of a conventional bike. Powered by an integrated 250 Wh battery, the system offers up to 100 km of autonomy. An optional range extender increases total capacity to 435 Wh, bringing maximum range to 160 km for the longest rides.

Combined with the Mahle X20 motor, weighing just 1.39 kg and discreetly integrated into the rear hub, the Newton[e] retains the natural feel of a classic road bike.

State-of-the-art carbon frame

The Newton[e] frame is the result of a specific development carried out from scratch by Origine engineers. Designed in high-modulus carbon, it uses the same fibers and molding technologies as the brand's top-of-the-range road frames. Laminations have been optimized to meet the specific constraints of an electric-assist bike, notably motor torque, while preserving lightness, rigidity and durability. This precision work by Origine's design office has resulted in a frame that is both dynamic and comfortable, capable of absorbing vibrations and offering sensations close to those of a muscle bike.
