The Fraxion is the bike that allows you to get the most out of your potential when you are at your best. It's a ball of nerves that just needs to be revved up and ridden at breakneck speed. But a bike can't carry the Origine brand if it doesn't have the Origine DNA. We don't want to develop bikes that can only be ridden by the elite. And the Fraxion is no exception.

Fraxion

The 10th road bike in the Origine range has a new signature, the Fraxion, why? Because it's more aerodynamic and fully integrated, the Fraxion benefits from the latest technology including revolutionary UML® internal moulding and a CCT+® rear triangle. Because an Origine bike would not be an Origine bike if it wasn't comfortable, we have given the Fraxion all our know-how to make it the long-distance rider's first choice for fatigue-free cycling.

UML stands for Unique Matrix Layup

The results of months of research led us to develop a new fibre moulding technique called UML, that stands for Unique Matrix Layup. The carbon sheets are assembled on the front triangle in one process around a single matrix. There are no junction points, no residues or unnecessary overlapping, just pure, defect-free carbon fibre.
This new version of our internal mould ensures that the fibres are compacted under pneumatic pressure evenly over the entire front triangle.
With this manufacturing process Origine has created a major innovation in the world of carbon moulding, we are redefining the contours of high modulus carbon.
The Fraxion is one of the few frames in the world to benefit from such a superior build.

XRD® technology

We have developed XRD®, a new derailleur hanger mounting system directly linked to the rear wheel axle. The precision of the gear change is further improved. The rigidity of the wheel in the frame increases by 17%.

CCT+® technology

Like the Axxome, the Fraxion is known for its ability to combine performance and comfort. The new CCT+® rear triangle further enhances these qualities.

The chainstays and seatstays of the Fraxion frames are connected in a single continuous carbon tube, with no hard points between the seatpost and the chainstay (Continuous Carbon Tubing®).

The buzz caused by defects in the road surface is diffused along the entire length of the continuous tube (chainstays + seatstays) for improved absorption.

Hand painted in our own assembly plant in the north of France

The paintwork is carried out in our workshops in the north of France using exclusively eco-friendly hydrosoluble automobile-industry quality paints.

Their resistance to impacts and abrasion is far superior to that of frames painted in Asia, and the impact on the environment is significantly less.

The Fraxion is available as a frameset only or as a complete bike, and like all Origine products, it comes with a lifetime warranty and is fully customisable using our proprietary online configurator to match the tastes and expectations of all passionate cyclists.

J'avais promis un témoignage après mon achat en septembre 2023. Vous trouverez en PJ, 2 photos du voyage de mon Fraxion en Andalousie (cols terribles)et sur la Costa Blanca (admirez ce trompe-l'oeil et mon petit Fraxion en bas à droite) dans le fief du vélo et des stages de pro !! J’ai acheté 2 vélos Orgine le jour des portes ouvertes avec visite de l’usine. L’expérience était intéressante et motivante. Les conseils sur la configuration des vélos m’ont étés très utiles. Le Fraxion est très sportif par rapport à mon ancien vélo tout en restant agréable. Le Graxx est complémentaire au Fraxion et me permet des sorties plus audacieuses et imprévues. Je vais l’utiliser pour mon périple en bikepacking en Corse début juin .

Je roule sur mon Fraxion depuis fin Mai 2024 et je viens de le tester sur les cols Pyrénéens pendant deux semaines. Que ce soit sur le plat, sur des routes vallonnées et surtout en montagne, j'en suis pleinement satisfait. C'est un vélo confortable, à la fois léger, et réactif.

Ce message pour vous dire que j’ai passé une semaine de stage cycliste sur la Costa Brava, en prenant un plaisir énorme avec mon Fraxxion .
