The Trail Flatbar is all about feeling, simplicity and comfort.

Its ultra-versatile behaviour and its numerous equipment possibilities make it the ideal partner for your trips, your off-road outings but also for your daily commute which becomes a moment of adventure.

Highly technical, it is made from 6061 aluminium and its variable thickness tubes are heat treated twice, first T4, then T6.

Its numerous carrying eyelets will allow you to always be well equipped, and its tyre sections up to 40 will never be constrained by the terrain.

Trail

Almost as light and comfortable as many carbon frames, the new Trail gravel frame is impressive for its performance and riding predictability. What is the secret of this performance? A highly technical construction. The tubes are extruded from 6061 aluminium, a very high quality, rigid and light alloy and then triple butted.

T4 and T6 heat treatments

The welds are a work of art. The finish superb and highly resistant. The thin tubes and internal routing gives it a classic look. Hand polished welds. The frame is first strengthened with a T4 heat treatment prior to a post-weld T6 heat treatment.

Carbon fork

The Full Carbon for in High Modulus Toray® UD T800 with 3K M40 reinforced carbon for the crown. The Japanese firm Toray® is the world's largest manufacturer of carbon fibre, its fibre is used in several fields such as car racing and the aeronautical industry. Toray fibre is used, for example, in the manufacture of the Boeing 787.
The fork is none other than that used for its bigger brother, the Origine Graxx. The wide, aero profile gives the fork stacks of lateral stiffness for surefooted, precision steering. The lay-up of the unidirectional fibres absorbs road buzz and reduces fatigue on long-distance rides.

Hand-painted in our factory

All Origine frames and forks are painted in our workshops in the North of France.  We have chosen to use water-soluble automotive quality paints only. Their resistance to impact and abrasion is far superior to that of frames painted in Asia and the ecological impact is greatly reduced.
Like all Origine products, it comes with a lifetime guarantee and can be fully customised using our proprietary configurator to reflect you.

The Origine Trail comes with our top-of-the-line Inset Conical 1''1/8-1.5'' headset. Designed for cyclists looking for precision and performance.
High quality sealed bearings for smooth and precise steering. Requires little torque to get rolling. Assembled in a controlled environment. Choice of 10, 15, or 25 mm alloy cones with O-ring and seal for maximum protection and sealing. Machined monobloc, anodised seat clamp. Standard BB86 (86.5x41) bottom bracket
