For the Orion carbon wheel range we use CWF® (Continuous Wound Filament) technology. The fibre is woven around the rim mould, it takes 500 metres of fibre to build each 35mm profile rim. Orion road wheelsets are available in various rim depths. The alloy models share a 30mm rim depth, affordable and lightweight low-profile rims perfect for climbing as they are cruising.
The carbon models are available in either a 35mm or 50mm deep profile. The 35mm rims are the perfect compromise between light weight, low rolling resistance and performance and are perfect for the cyclist looking to change their wheelset for a more versatile and top performing rim.
