Technological benefits

The new Axxome 400 has been designed for sportive riders seeking stiffness, performance and outstanding comfort. The frame weighs just 880g in size XS and the fork 380g.

The CCT® rear triangle and EPS internal moulding optimise performance and yet cut-out road buzz.

The angled laying of uni-directional carbon fibres soaks up road surface imperfections and reduces rider fatigue on long distance rides.
The frame and fork are moulded using High Modulus Toray® T800 uni-directional carbon fibre and M40 3K reinforced fibre.

CCT+® technology

The Axxome family of frames is reputed for its capacity to combine performance and comfort. The new CCT+® rear triangle further improves these features.

The seat and chain stays on all Axxome frames are connected by one single continuous carbon tube, free of pressure points between the bottom bracket and the saddle well. This is Continuous Carbon Tubing®.

Buzz created by flaws in the road surface are damped out along the full length of this continuous tube (chain and seat stays) for added comfort.

EPS moulding technology

The EPS internal frame moulds in polyurethane prevent the build-up of resin in the angles but smooth out the frame tubes’ internal surfaces.
Consequently, the frame is not weighed down by excess unnecessary resin.
Smoothing out the internal surfaces results in a constant tube thickness, as a result the frame can better filter out ground buzz and vibration.

Hand painted in our factory

All Origine frames are painted in our assembly plant in the north of France.

We have conscientiously chosen to exclusively use car industry quality water soluble paints.
Their resistance to scratches, impacts and abrasion is far superior to those frames painted in Asia and the impact on the environment is considerably less.

The new Axxome 400 is available as a frameset only or a completely assembled bike.

Like all Origine frames, it benefits from a full lifetime warranty.
