Newton[e] GR | 200-km Test Ride with Gravel Bike and Backpack

09/15/2026
In this video, Gravel & Sac à Dos heads to Rouvignies, at Origine’s headquarters, to check out the Newton[e] GR, the French brand’s ultra-light electric-assist gravel bike. On the agenda: a detailed presentation of the bike, an interview with a member of the Origine team, and, most importantly, a real-world test ride covering 200 km starting from Paris.

The goal: to measure the battery’s actual range under varied conditions, far from the figures obtained in the lab. Elevation changes, wind, and riding conditions put the Newton[e] GR to the test over a long distance.

This video lets you discover the bike and evaluate its capabilities in real-world conditions on a challenging route.
