Newton[e] | Testing and Analysis by NCT

10/26/2026
In this video, NCT puts the range of the Origine Newton[e] to the test. The goal: to measure the elevation gain that can be covered on a single battery charge.

For this real-world test, NCT covered 171 km and 1,920 m of elevation gain, activating the electric assist only during the 18 climbs along the route. The motor, set to level 1 and then turned off at the top of each climb, remained off for 85% of the ride.

This experiment illustrates the benefits of on-demand electric assistance and highlights the Newton[e]’s potential on long, hilly rides.
