This is what reconciled me to aluminum. Frankly, for 1,335€, this is a bike that has nothing to envy some carbon bikes at 2,500 or even 3,000€.
At 7.8kg, it won't be one of the lightest bikes around, but remember that 10/15 years ago, the pros were riding bikes weighing over 8kg. To go below 7kg, you'll have to go a lot higher on the price front, without it showing on your performance.
With its Shimano 105 11-speed groupset, this bike is far from being a discount bike. It will suit cyclists who don't have the budget for a carbon bike, as well as those who want a second bike for training, winter and rough conditions.
