An 11% increase in stiffness at the head tube and a 16% increase at the bottom bracket, along with a 5% reduction in weight, for ultimate performance.
The Fraxion X is the fastest road bike Origine has ever developed. More than just an evolution of the Fraxion GTR, it introduces a new approach to performance, designed to meet real-world road conditions. Shifting winds, accelerations, exiting corners, changes in pace, or descents: every detail of the bike has been optimized to maintain and generate speed. Thanks to in-depth work on aerodynamics, stiffness, and weight, the Fraxion X delivers an aerodynamic gain of 15 watts at 40 km/h, while offering 11% greater stiffness at the head tube and 16% greater stiffness at the bottom bracket. The result: a bike that’s more responsive, more efficient, and exceptionally precise in its handling, without sacrificing riding feel.
The Fraxion X was designed as a complete aerodynamic system, in which every component contributes to overall performance. Its integrated AeroFlow Cockpit naturally extends the frame’s lines and channels airflow starting at the head tube. Completely redesigned, the fork features deeper profiles and an optimized spacing to reduce turbulence around the front wheel and improve stability at high speeds. The seat tube hugs the rear wheel, while the lowered and shortened seat stays combine aerodynamic efficiency, power transfer, and vibration damping. Available in 45 combinations of width, length, and rise, the cockpit also allows for precise adjustment of the riding position to suit every rider’s body type.
Aerodynamics alone aren't enough to create a high-performance bike. With its SmartLay Carbon technology, Origine has carefully engineered each layer to achieve the optimal balance between stiffness, lightness, and comfort. High-modulus fibers are selected and oriented according to the specific stresses in each area of the frame—particularly around the bottom bracket and head tube—to ensure immediate power transfer. In contrast, the seatstays are designed to maintain controlled vertical compliance. The result is a frame weighing just 875 g—despite its more pronounced aerodynamic profiles—and exceptionally responsive handling during accelerations and changes in pace.
The Fraxion X is available in two carbon grades: Core and Lite. While both versions feature the same design and aerodynamic performance, the Lite carbon fiber reduces the frame set’s weight by 150 g and offers greater responsiveness during accelerations, whereas the Core carbon fiber prioritizes a slight degree of flexibility, making it particularly well-suited for long distances and Granfondo rides. To take it even further, the RR version incorporates every weight-saving feature: ceramic bearings, titanium hardware, ultralight axles, and a lightweight seatpost clamp and expander. In its top-of-the-line configuration, the Fraxion X RR can weigh as little as 6.60 kg, making this aero bike one of the lightest models in its class.
True to Origine’s DNA, the Fraxion X is fully customizable using the brand’s configurator. Mechanical or electronic drivetrains, wheels, tires, saddles, components, and colors can be selected to create a setup perfectly tailored to each rider. The five sizes, from XS to XL, and the numerous cockpit adjustment options allow for even finer tuning of the bike’s riding position and handling. UCI-approved and already endorsed by professional riders, the Fraxion X RR will be ridden by Origine-sponsored teams for the 2027 season. Priced from €3,900 to €11,500, the Fraxion X allows everyone to choose their performance level and build a bike that precisely matches their riding style.
