Customer feedback
"I love my new Graxx III GTO. Ordered in summer so I wasn't surprised at a few weeks extra delay versus the time quoted. To get it faster I actually ordered the 'frame only' option. It was a learning curve to build it up, first time installing disc brakes, tubeless and integrated cabling. But I've managed to set it up very nicely and it's very smooth and quiet. If you need any tips for self building I have a lot of links I can share, and things to look out for. When I ordered I had only test-ridden the Graxx GTR at Valenciennes (in L and XL sizes). The GTR in L was a very exciting bike and I really liked riding it (the XL was a little less responsive). However, one of my main motivations for a new bike was comfort, so to maximize this I went for the GTO. I am happy with my decision, the comfort is beyond expectations. I've never had a bike that just never seems to feel uncomfortable, when I go out on a ride, I don't want to come home anymore. I went for 2 x 12 speed mechanical and am very happy with this choice. The range of the gears is fantastic. Any regrets on choosing GTO over GTR? Not really. The GTR was definitely more explosive, but I already have a fast road bike if I want that feeling. More than happy with the slight compromise in feel/zippiness for such a smooth and pleasant ride. First two ascents on the Graxx of my local (famous) cobbled climb I had PB times - faster than my road bike. I went for a Schwalbe G-One RS rear and R front. Will need a grippier rear tyre if I want to do any long rough rides. Aside from the Graxx I test rode some other well reviewed bikes (Giant Revolt, Surly, etc) and the comfort is on a different level, the fit is good for me (long legs and short body) and the weight is low."
