Tips before purchasing
Choosing a bike depends first and foremost on how you ride, your favourite terrain, your riding position and your expectations in terms of comfort and performance.
To help you, the Origine Bike Finder asks you a few questions about your cycling habits and preferences. It then guides you towards the models best suited to your needs.

The Gravel is designed for more versatile use. Its geometry and build options mean it can be ridden on both roads and trails.
It also offers greater options for carrying luggage, making it suitable for travel, bikepacking and ultra-distance riding.
All Origine models are designed to be used by both women and men. The entire Origine range is therefore unisex.
In fact, our approach is based on bespoke customisation rather than a specific range. You can adjust many aspects of your bike to suit your body shape: frame size, stem length, handlebar width, crank length, saddle setback and handlebar height.
Carbon fibre generally helps to reduce weight and improve vibration damping. It is particularly suitable when performance and comfort are the top priorities.
Aluminium offers a robust and durable solution, particularly suited to versatile use and travel.
The choice therefore depends above all on how you use your bike, your priorities and your budget.
A bike that’s tailored to your body shape is essential for your comfort, riding enjoyment and performance.
There are several ways to set your bike up:
1/ You already know your settings You can choose the frame size, stem length, handlebar width, handlebar height, crank length and saddle width.
2/ You’d like some guidance Our Size Calculator will recommend the frame size and key components based on a few simple measurements. You can also select the ‘Choose sizes later’ option when placing your order. A technical adviser will contact you within 48 working hours to assist you.
3/ You already have a posture analysis Please also select ‘Choose sizes later’, then send us your posture analysis or the settings for your current bike. We’ll adjust your configuration accordingly.

Our technical advisers will be able to take your measurements into account to tailor your setup.
The Sport position is designed for regular cyclists and those looking for a more aerodynamic position. The recommended handlebar height is lower.
The Comfort position favours a more upright riding position, particularly for occasional cyclists or those cycling long distances.
As a guide, Origine recommends:
under 1.70 m: 170 mm
from 1.70 m to 1.85 m: 172.5 mm
over 1.85 m: 175 mm
These figures are general recommendations. The appropriate length may also depend on your body type and how you use the product.
Origine does not offer non-standard geometry.
However, you can adjust a number of components to suit your body shape: handlebars, stem, seatpost, saddle, crankset and head tube height.
In accordance with the technical specifications set out in the FAQ, the bikes are designed and guaranteed for a maximum rider weight of 110 kg, including equipment.
The weight shown in the configurator is based on a size S frame.
You should allow for an extra 75 g per size.
Using the configurator, build your bike and then click ‘Save’.
Enter your email address to receive a copy of your configuration.
Log in to your customer portal and go to the My settings section.
No, a complete Origine bike comes with all the components required for it to function properly and safely.
Only the saddle and pedals may be missing from the order.
With the ‘Colour on Demand’ option, you can specify a RAL code or an automotive paint code in the comments section of your order.
Certain finishes, such as chrome or glitter finishes, cannot be produced.
Your bike’s suspension is preset at the factory based on the weight you provided when you created your account.
It is possible to use a trailer with the Gravel Origine models, provided they have compatible axles.
As the Graxx and Trail are lightweight bikes, however, you should take the total load being carried into account.
Only Direct Drive indoor trainers with an integrated cassette and roller models that do not block the wheel axles are permitted.
Models fitted with a clamp, a screw or which exert external pressure on the frame are prohibited.
Only road bikes and gravel bikes are compatible. Mountain bikes and e-bikes are not.
When using the trainer, avoid standing on the pedals and protect the frame from sweat splashes.
Support schemes may vary depending on your region.
We recommend that you check the applicable conditions with your local authority or the relevant public service.
In Europe, electric assistance is limited to 25 km/h.
The motor automatically cuts off assistance when you exceed 25 km/h. You can continue to pedal and ride at a higher speed, but without electric assistance.
Outlet bikes are brand-new bikes, sourced mainly from customer returns or clearance stock.
Appointment with Origine
You can book an appointment directly at the Origine headquarters in Rouvignies, in northern France, to be shown round the showroom, get advice from a technical adviser or test ride the bike of your choice.
It is also possible to test ride Origine bikes at certain trade fairs and events such as Roc d’Azur, Vélo Vert Festival, Pass’Portes, Nature is Bike, Vélo In Paris and Bike Brussels (list not exhaustive).
Click on ‘Cancel or change the appointment’ in the confirmation email you received.
Once you have cancelled the appointment, you will be able to select a new slot from the online calendar.
Payment of the order

The lead times for preparing your order are:

These lead times are calculated from the date of full payment confirmation and confirmation of size selection.
If a selected component has a longer lead time, delivery will take place within one to two weeks from the date specified for that component.
Once you have received the dispatch notification, the carrier should normally contact you within 2 to 3 working days. You can track your delivery via the carrier specified in this email.
If you have not heard from them by then, please contact us via our contact form, stating your name and order number.
For collection in person from the factory, you will receive an email when your order is ready. You can then choose your preferred collection slot.
For home delivery, you will receive an email notifying you that your order has been dispatched. The carrier will then contact you to arrange delivery.

Would you like to know how the warranty works?
At Origine, we believe that an exceptional bike deserves an exceptional warranty. As such, every model comes with a lifetime warranty on the frame and a two-year warranty on components.
The warranty is managed directly at our factory by our after-sales service teams. Your point of contact is an expert who will be able to provide you with an answer or an explanation, decide whether to send you a replacement part, or arrange for your bike to be serviced.

The phenomenon known as ‘toe overlap’ is not a fault; it can occur depending on frame geometry, crank lengths and shoe sizes.
This occurs when manoeuvring at very low speeds, below 3 km/h. During normal use, this will not occur.
Interview of your bike
Origine frees you from having to rely on a single retail outlet by offering you a wide range of options for maintaining your bike.
Origine works with nearly 400 technicians, also known as Service Centres, some of whom can come to your home.
You can also have your bike serviced by your usual technician or at the Origine factory.

The Right Fit Guarantee means you can cycle with peace of mind on your first few rides.
If, within 30 days of receiving your bike, you’re not happy with your riding position, we’ll replace the necessary components to adjust your bike, at our expense.
You have 14 days from receipt of your order to exercise your right of withdrawal.
Products must be new, complete and in their original packaging. Products specially designed outside the range available on the website are excluded from this provision.
In the event of an accident, the discount applied to the replacement of the frame kit depends on how long ago the original invoice was issued:
less than 6 months: 50 per cent
less than one year: 45 per cent
less than two years: 35 per cent
more than two years: 25 per cent
Origine does not hold sales or take part in Black Friday on its range of bicycles.
The bicycles are made to order and the ranges are not subject to annual model changes. Prices are therefore set to remain consistent throughout the year.
The stated weight of the bicycles is given with a tolerance of ±3 per cent due to manufacturing processes.
For frames, the weight stated corresponds to a size S frame fitted with the headset, axles, seatpost clamp, derailleur hanger and any additional components included in the configuration.
There may be a difference of approximately 20 to 40 g between two frame sizes, depending on the model.

It's very simple, each time you change the drivetrain, wheelset and components, as per your liking, the photo, technical data sheet, bike weight and price are automatically updated. The Tuxedo Endurance impresses with its performance and all-road capabilities. This aluminum frame is lighter and more comfortable than many carbon frames.
So what's the secret behind its exceptional performance? A highly technical construction process. The tubes are extruded from 6061 alloy, a premium alloy known for its rigidity and lightweight properties. The interior of the tubes is then precision-machined to variable thicknesses (Triple Butted technology) before undergoing T4 and T6 hardening treatments. After welding, the entire frame is further strengthened with an additional heat treatment.
Premium-grade aluminum
The Tuxedo is crafted from premium-grade aluminum. The tubes are extruded, and their interiors are precision-machined using Triple Butted technology before undergoing T4 and T6 hardening treatments. The frame is strengthened with a T4 heat treatment before welding, followed by a T6 heat treatment after welding.
The welds are then hand-polished to deliver a finish that meets our highest standards.
Hand-painted in our factory
Origine frames and forks are painted in our workshops located in Northern France. We have chosen to use exclusively water-based automotive-grade paints. This ensures significantly greater resistance to impacts and abrasion compared to frames painted in Asia, while also drastically reducing the environmental impact. Like all Origine frames, it comes with a lifetime warranty and is fully customizable through our Configurator to meet the tastes and expectations of every cyclist.

Un an que je roule avec mon vélo Origine cadre alu. J'en suis très satisfait avec plus de 5 000 km parcourus dont le Ventoux sous le froid d'octobre et l'Alpe d'Huez sous le soleil de mai.
J'utilise le vélo 5 jours par semaine depuis réception et j'en suis très heureux. Le dérailleur est dingue comparé à ce que j'avais avant : un mono plateau de qualité avec une cassette 12 vitesses, c'est vraiment le top ! Aucun problème sur les freins ou les roues, vraiment, merci !

très satisfait de mon Tuxedo. Après la commande, un technicien m'a contacté et m'a très bien conseillé, je pense avoir un vélo au rapport qualité prix excellent. livré dans son carton bien protégé, bien réglé. Roulant depuis janvier 2019 sur AXXOME II RS dans les Pyrénées Orientales, environ 35000kms parcourus et toujours conquis, je viens de recevoir le "mulet" un TUXEDO destiné à rouler 1 mois par an à la Réunion, équipé SHIM 105/ roues alu Prymalh.
Ce vélo m'a bluffé, rendement exceptionnel une bête à rouler et à grimper, finition parfaite au point de se demander si un 250 voir 350 serait vraiment mieux.
Donc tout à fait content de la prestation d'Origine, délais de 12 semaines respecté.BRAVO !!!

J’ai pris possession de mon Tuxedo Evo 3 (Shimano 105, ksyrium elite) début Juillet, après plus de 1200km parcourus je ne peux que féliciter l’équipe Origine. Ils ont été très réactifs, le vélo est arrivé parfaitement emballé et dans les temps. Une fois déballé, tout n’est que plaisir, la finition est très soignée, le vélo est rigide et réactif, c’est devenu un vrai plaisir de rouler et les longues distances ne font plus peur !

J'ai commandé mon vélo Tuxedo Aluminium Route le 1er mai 2018. Je l'ai reçu en juin.
Depuis, c'est le bonheur retrouvé sur les routes, avec une 100aine de kilomètres par semaine en moyenne.
Je ne regrette pas mon achat : vélo de qualité, personnel à l’écoute et de bons conseils... même si j'avais déjà fait la configuration avec l'aide précieuse de l'Ami qui m'a fait découvrir ce magasin.
A l'occasion d'une visite dans le Nord, je ne manquerai pas de leur faire une visite.

Bonjour. Je possède mon Tuxedo depuis le mois d'avril 2015 et il est resté comme neuf. La peinture n'a absolument pas bougé et je n'ai eu aucun réglage à faire depuis sa réception. J'en suis très satisfait et recommande vivement cette marque à tous les internautes.

Voila j'ai mon TUXEDO! très beau kit cadre, belle finition, superbe anodisation noir, léger. J'ai fait un montage tout SHIMANO DURA ACE, tige de selle cintre et potence carbone, toute la visserie est en alu anodisé rouge du plus belle effet sur l'anodisé noir du cadre. J'ai fait deux sortie ce cadre se révèle réactif,confortable, très léger(monté 6.869 kg)et le poste de pilotage est d'une précision étonnante avec son jeu de direction 1"1/8-1.5 .Je suis ravi de son comportement et surtout....pas de mal au dos! merci à l'équipe ORIGINE!

Aprés quelques mois d'utilisation je suis trés satisfait de mon vélo Tuxédo de chez Origine cycles.
Le concept de configurer un vélo "sur mesure" correspondait parfaitement a mes attentes, aprés 25 ans sans faire de sport j avais besoin d un matériel qui me soit parfaitement adapté.

Voici maintenant plus de 6 mois que j’ai pris possession de mon TUXEDO. Un vrai bonheur. Déjà, le suivi de commande et la livraison c’est très bien passée. Au moindre souci technique le SAV vous réponds très rapidement. Et puis maintenant que je fais des sorties régulières avec ce vélo, que du plaisir !
Equipé en compact SHIMANO 105 11v avec plateaux 52/36 et une cassette 11/32 un vrai régal que ce soit dans les côtes ou les descentes.
