A very versatile bike, both light and responsive.

Comfort doesn't match that of endurance-oriented bikes, but despite its wheels fitted with 23mm tires, it proves to be less of a pain in the ass than it looks. It's not afraid to embark on a journey of more than 4 hours, and won't make its owner suffer.

All-purpose, its low weight makes it a great tool for climbing. Quite lively, despite wheels that are a little sluggish on relaunches. Low aluminum wheels or high 100% carbon wheels would undoubtedly be more favorable in this exercise.

Downhill, there's nothing to say about this bike. Stable, even at over 60km/h on gravelly roads, you can place it wherever you like. Added to this is a high-performance braking system, both incisive and easy to modulate. This came as something of a surprise to me, since Shimano brakes are so highly acclaimed. Campagnolo Chorus calipers are just as powerful and flexible. The only difference is that the braking attack seems to be a little less forthright, a matter of habit.

The Exalith 2 coating also works wonders. After the first 200 kilometers of running-in, when the noise generated is quite loud, only a slight whistling sound can be heard. But the Exalith 2 surface offers plenty of bite, even in the rain.

In short, a highly recommendable bike'.
