Where (and how) to maintain your Origine bike

Origine offers you a wide choice of maintenance and repair options for your bike.

With several options now available, you are free to choose the service that best suits you and your pocket, such as Origine-approved bike mechanics, some of whom will even come to your home, alternatively nothing to stop you using your usual LBS (Local Bike Shop); you can also drop your bike off at our factory and we'll repair it for you (following quote), or why not maintain and fettle your bike yourself using our Origine tutorials.

Warranty

- What are our warranty terms?

At Origine, we believe that an exceptional bike deserves an exceptional warranty.
Therefore, each model comes with a lifetime warranty on the frame and a 2-year warranty on the components.

The warranty is managed directly in our factory by our teams. Your point of contact is an expert who will be able to give you an answer or an explanation, decide to send you a component or plan repairs or other work for your bike.

You have 14 days following the reception of your order to change your mind and withdraw.
Send us your request by e-mail or registered letter with signed receipt addressed to our head office, providing your contact details and invoice number.

Returned products must be new, complete and in their original packaging.
This guarantee does not apply to specially designed products, i.e., those not found on our website.
Please refer to our General Terms and Conditions of Sale for more details on the terms of this clause.

If having a bike that fits your image is important to many cyclists, it is also vital that the bike also fits you and that you are well positioned on it. Yet many people neglect this point and irrespective if a novice or a seasoned racer the position on the bike is the guarantee of your comfort and your performance.

When finalising the configuration of an Origine bike, there are several options when choosing the position on your bike.

1- You know what you want:
Choose the frame size, stem length, handlebar width, cockpit height, crank length, and a saddle of the appropriate width. We leave the choice to you.

2- Use our Size Calculator
With just a few, easily determined measurements, it defines the exact dimensions of each component for a bike that will fit you perfectly.

3- You need some help from our advisors
Validate your order by clicking on "Choose sizes later", one of our technical advisers will call you back within 48 hours.

4- You have a recent bike fit or wish to replicate the settings of your current bike
Select the option "Choose the sizes later" and send us the measurements by email; we will build your bike according to them.

Whatever your choice, one of our technical advisors will systematically call all customers to check measurements before we start production of your bike.

RIGHT SIZE GUARANTEE
All our bikes come with a 1-month CORRECT SIZE GUARANTEE.
If you are not completely satisfied with your position after your initial rides, we will, free of charge, change the bike’s component sizes within one month of delivery of your bike.

Women's bikes

At Origine, our policy has never been, and never will be, to produce scaled-down men's bikes for women.
Our guarantee to produce a bike that is perfectly adapted to your size applies equally to women as it does to men. In choosing from 6 different frame sizes, 8 different stem lengths, 3 different crank lengths, a choice of 2 saddle layback options, and more than 10 different stack heights, we can create the perfect combination that corresponds perfectly to your body shape.
And this is possible across the whole range. At Origine, women have just as many choices as men.

How do we ship your Origine bike to you?

Origine bikes are shipped fully assembled and adjusted, you just need to fit the front wheel, the bar (MTB only) and adjust the saddle height.

How to configure your bike

Fully configure your bike to your image and adapt it to your riding style, expectations, budget and body shape and size.

Firstly, start by choosing the model of bike that interests you and add the components that you want including everything from the make and model of drivetrain, the tyres, the frame colour and the saddle type.

With each component choice the visual, technical data sheet, bike weight and total price are automatically updated.
Let your personality and expectations speak for themselves, you can't go wrong as our configurator will not allow you to select components that are not compatible with each other.

I want a colour or decor that are not found in the configurator

Colour:
We believe that a bike that reflects you should do so completely and using our Colors On Demand® custom app you can find the colour scheme THAT YOU WANT.

When finalising your order, simply indicate in the "Comments" box a RAL colour chart number or the reference of any car manufacturer's colour scheme.

Good to know:
- We are not equipped to produce chrome or glitter tints, and unfortunately it is not technically possible to create a computer-generated of the bike with a custom colour scheme.

- The boundary between two colour areas cannot be changed as this requires time-consuming adjustments that cannot be made for a single bike.

Decor:
- For technical reasons, it is not possible to select other decors than those found on our configurator. It is not possible to customise the colour, change the position, add or remove them, or mix them with those of other models than the one initially selected.

Shipping time for a bike (in weeks) : 4/5

If you have chosen a component with a longer delivery time, you will be delivered within one or two weeks from that date.

These lead times are given as an indication only and only come into play once your order, including all the component size choices, has been confirmed and full payment made.
Lead times are subject to production issues and our own suppliers' lead times.
Unfortunately, our technical advisors are unable to reliably inform you of the status of your order prior to the indicated delivery date.

Payment and financing

Use either a bank card or bank transfer to pay for your Origine bike.
If French resident you can also pay by cheque in up to 3 interest-free instalments.

UML 2 Technology ®

Years of research have enabled us to develop our fiber molding technology into a new generation: UML 2, for Unique Matrix Layup 2nd generation. This improved version is based on a unique internal molding method, allowing for even more precise fiber compaction thanks to pneumatic pressure that is evenly distributed across the entire frame.

With UML 2, carbon sheets are compacted in one piece and perfectly uniformly around the single matrix. The result is a pure fiber structure that is perfectly compact, with no internal defects.

Thanks to UML 2, each tube is molded with optimal precision, guaranteeing lightness, rigidity, and reliability at a level never before achieved.

Toray® M40X

The second pillar of the development of the Axxome RR is the choice of M40X high modulus fiber, a material that Toray® reserves for a select few. Derived from aerospace technology and used in Formula 1, this fiber is exceptional for its stiffness-to-weight ratio. Extremely difficult to handle, this fiber is rarely used in series production due to its technical complexity, but it allows the mechanical limits of the frame to be pushed further.

Carbon layups optimization

The third pillar is based on new layup work, optimized zone by zone, to finely adjust the thickness and orientation of the fibers according to actual mechanical constraints. This engineering work, invisible to the naked eye, is what gives the bike its soul. Multiple iterations of the layups allow the stiffness of different parts of the frame to be controlled, particularly the bottom bracket and rear triangle, to optimize pedaling efficiency and performance.

Hand-painted in our workshops

Origine frames and forks are painted in our workshops located in northern France.

We have chosen to use only water-soluble paints of automotive quality. The resistance to impact and abrasion is significantly higher than that of frames painted in Asia, and the environmental impact is greatly reduced.

Like all Origine frames, it comes with a lifetime warranty and is fully customisable in the Configurator to suit the tastes and expectations of all enthusiasts.

Après environ 200 kms au guidon de mon Axxome 3 GTR monté en SRAM Force, roue Prymahl C35R, je peux faire un retour très positif. Vélo vraiment super confortable une fois la bonne pression de pneus trouvée.Un rendement et une réactivité qui m'a bluffé car dès qu'on met des watts le vélo accélère vraiment fort et instantanément Quand on baisse le rythme on ne reste pas planté comme avec beaucoup de vélos actuels. Niveau finition rien à dire la peinture est magnifique sans aucun défaut, et les réglages sont parfaits. Bref très satisfait de mon achat

‌je suis très satisfait de mon Axxome GTO reçu le 07/05/2025 parcouru 1200 kms à ce jour aussi bien sur le plat qu'en montagne bonne sensation grand rouleur environ 15 à 18 milles kms l'an j'ai de bonnes sensations sur ce vélo ne regrette pas cet acquisition.

Axxome GTR - Shimano Ultegra Di2 - Prymahl Orion C35 Pro

Je possède depuis février un AXXOME 3 GTR équipé avec le groupe Shimano Ultégra di2 et les roues C35 Pro et je prends énormément de plaisir à rouler avec. J'ai changé pour remplacer mon "vieux" Look 586 de 2014 et je suis bluffé par l'évolution. Je trouve l'axxome hyper réactif. Je l'utilise en parcours vallonné voir montagneux et je fais environ 4000 kms par an. A ceux qui hésitent, foncez, vous ne le regretterez pas. Et le service client ORIGIN au top !

Vélo reçu quasi dans les délais. A part un petit souci de pneus qui n'étaient pas ceux commandés ( mais origine m'en a renvoyé 2 après contrôle photo, parfait ) le vélo est superbe. peinture de belle facture. Après 4500 kms depuis 6 mois, je pensais que le GTO allait être un peu pataud. En plus d'être très confortable, il est très réactif ( Comment doit être le GTR ! ). Apres l'achat d'un kit cadre pour un Axxome en 2021, et très satisfait de cet achat, c'est avec plaisir que mon épouse ma offert l'année dernière un kit cadre Trail , léger , réactif pour l'Axxome ,passe partout, polyvalent pour le Trail , toujours autant satisfait de la marque nordiste. Je recommande à ceux qui hésite encore .

Je viens de recevoir mon Axxome GTR. Cela fait 40 ans que j'achète des vélos et c'est la première fois que je constate une aussi bonne préparation. Le montage et les réglages sont parfaits, même les filetages des vis des portes bidons sont déjà enduits de graisse. Le vélo est livré avec un petit sachet de graisse spéciale pour la tige de selle et une clé dynamométrique. J'ai également été surpris par la présence d'une pate anti déraillement montée sur le dérailleur avant, un détail qui confirme le sérieux de la préparation.

Après mon GTR1 de mars 2019 et qui a parcouru 61 000kms je suis passé au GTR3. Superbe vélo, confortable et très réactif. J'habite les Hautes Alpes (05) et les cols sont très nombreux à proximité! Izoard, Galibier, Granon, Lautaret, Ventoux, Allos, Cayolle et j'en passe! Le GTR3 est dans son domaine. Bravo Origine!
