Performante aluminium fitnessfiets

Het aluminium frame van de Tuxedo Flatbar is lichter dan veel carbon frames op de markt.

Het technologisch vooruitstrevend frame wordt van 6061 aluminium gemaakt en de framebuizen met een variabele wanddikte krijgen een dubbele thermische behandeling.

Het resultaat: een licht, stijf en comfortabele aluminium fietsframe.

Lighter and more comfortable than the majority of carbon frames, our 3rd generation Tuxedo Evo3 flat-bar will charm you by its performance and steering.

What is the secret of this exceptional performance? A highly technical build using extruded 6061 alloy tubes that is both stiff and light in weight. The tube interiors are machined and triple butted then T4T6 heat treated for further strength. After welding, the complete frame is strengthened once more by another heat treatment.

TORAY carbon fibre

The frame and fork are moulded using High Modulus Toray® T800 unidirectional carbon fibre and M40 3K reinforced fibre.

The Japanese firm Toray® is the world's largest manufacturer of carbon fibre, its fibre is used in several fields such as car racing and the aeronautical industry. Toray fibre is used, for example, in the manufacture of the Boeing 787.

All Origine frames are painted in our assembly plant in the north of France.

We have conscientiously chosen to exclusively use car industry quality water soluble paints.

Their resistance to scratches, impacts and abrasion is far superior to those frames painted in Asia and the impact on the environment is considerably less.

Top quality finish

The Tuxedo frameset comes supplied with Origine's top-of-the-range tapered Inset 1"1/8-1.5" headset that has been specifically designed for cyclists seeking precision steering and performance.

Sealed high-quality smooth bearings for even more steering precision. Requires little turning effort, friction-free. Assembled in a controlled environment.

Top cap (of various sizes: 10, 15 or 25mm) machined from a single alloy block with an O-ring and gasket for a maximum protection and seal.

Plus, the seat post clamp is machined from a single alloy block, then anodised for extra strength.

Compatible with a standard 27.2mm seat post and Shimano Di2 shifting.

The bottom bracket is a standard BB86 (86.5 x 41mm)

Crankset compatibility

-Shimano: Across their entire range of 24mm models (as from Tiagra), except with triple chainrings
-Rotor: Across their entire range of 24mm and 30mm models
-Campagnolo: Across their entire UltraTorque and PowerTorque ranges
-Sram: GXP only (22/24mm)
-FSA: MegaExo 24mm only

It's the small detail that makes all the difference.
